About Stewart Vernon
Stewart Vernon is a lifelong entrepreneur from Macon, Georgia. The defining chapter of his career is founding ASP – America’s Swimming Pool Company, the nation’s largest swimming pool service franchise.
Launched in Macon in 2002 to deliver higher-quality pool service in his hometown, ASP grew rapidly at its flagship location before expanding through franchising. Stewart built the model by partnering with entrepreneurial operators who wanted a proven roadmap. Today the company has more than 170 franchise owners operating hundreds of territories across the United States.
ASP’s success earned repeated rankings in the top 100 of Entrepreneur magazine’s Franchise 500 list and led to its acquisition by Authority Brands in 2018. Stewart currently serves on the executive team at Authority Brands, leading the Emerging Brands division. In this role he draws on decades of experience building companies, mentoring entrepreneurs, and identifying opportunities for scalable growth across a diverse portfolio of franchise brands.
He has spoken at the College of Charleston, Georgia Tech, Mercer University, Wesleyan College, and EntreCon Florida, and has delivered the keynote address at the annual ASP Owners Meeting more than a dozen times. As an active entrepreneur and investor, he mentors founders and provides early-stage capital to high-growth companies.
He is married to Shannon Vernon. They have two children, Stewart Jr. and Sloan.
"Stewart has a passion for helping aspiring entrepreneurs realize their potential and achieve success."
